A demure and cosy 1940s dress in classic mustard shade of soft wool jersey, from ‘Syringa’ label. Fastening with marbled brown Galalith buttons all the way down the front, it is only semi fitted, designed to be belted in as desired. Front bodice featured inverted pleat detail pointed into an arrow of sorts, and finished with rows of decorative machine stitching; this is also echoed to the front of skirt. Back skirt featured inverted pleat, and long sleeves have the same machine stitch rows at their pointed cuffs. Handy pocket to one hip!

Presents excellently, has lost original belt but clean and ready to wear. The back skirt has a few well done darns which are only really noticeable under scrutiny, and appear as surface discrepancies rather than stitches, largest pictured.
