1940s Floral zip front dress - XL

A gorgeous 1940s ‘housedress’ absolutely wearable as a light summer frock by contemporary standards! In pale cream matte acetate feel fabric, printed with glorious trumpet florals in purple, raspberry pink, yellow, and green, fastening with front metal zip to hip level. With 3/4 length cuffed sleeve, and lovely shaped collar, it is only gently fitted but with wide belt loops to each side seam to belt in as desired. Looks fine drawn in quite a way!

Excellent condition with no structural notes, I spotted the palest gradual discolouration to the skirt although very easy to miss! Note that I added light padding to the shoulders of the mannequin to raise the body slightly as she is too small to fit otherwise, the piece does not come with shoulder pads- although would look great if you added some!
