1940s 50s Embroidered cotton day skirt - Small

A summery everyday early 1950s skirt, in sunshine yellow cotton embroidered with Broderie Anglais style openwork in white. Gently pleated for fulness, with pointed side pockets, and back metal zip fastening.
Waist of garment 26" tight, there are two strips of elastication in the waistband
27.5" long
Excellent condition, has been homemade, with the overlap of waistband being a little narrower than the rest of the waist as pictured
