1960s Celanese two piece pyjama set - Small

An adorable 1960s night set, collectors of vintage negligee/nightwear will know that it is harder to find these pyjamas! In shocking pink 'Celanese' slinky nylon, the set is comprised of:

Cropped length bloomer style pant, with elasticated waist, and shirred elastic to the hem

20" waist stretching to 30" max

Hip of garment 40"

14.5" front rise

29" outer leg

Puffed sleeve top, with bodice gathered to shirred elasticated waist, creating a peplum beneath. Front yoke is detailed with rows of smocking, finished with white lace, and satin ribbon bow to neck. This has a slightly shorter length body which, along with the style of the piece, indicates it's design for the 'youth' market, however could be worn by a more petite adult befitting measurements below
