1940s Leopard print fluffy jacket - Small

A gorgeous 1940s jacket, in leopard print wool jersey with wonderful fluffy/hairy surface as though mohair (may be!). It is a clutch or ‘fingertip’ jacket, meaning there are no fastenings (measurements below are of the garment with front overlapping just a touch), but it would be easy to add a furriers hook or popstud fastening without causing much distortion. A loose fit, with rounded neckline, slit pockets, and brown satiny lining.

Presents very well, around the neck and pocket edge has lost a little of it’s fluffiness, but this is hardly noticeable. A small scrub hole at lining of one underarm, and some additional hand stitching around the armholes although they do appear to have been stitched by hand originally also- nothing seen from outside. For those sensitive to such things, the piece has a slight residual floral aroma which I don’t personally find an issue but worth mentioning
