A chic pair of chunky bakelite earrings in muted pea green marbled with rust red and paler shades, sometimes called 'Arizona turquoise'. Domed, and layered/laminated with black bakelite, they are suspected Jorge Montes de Oca, a contemporary circa 1980s Bakelite jewellery artisan using original 1930-50s bakelite.
These have been converted from clip on to pierced at some point, evident by an adhesive residue around the post finding. Not visible when worn!
