A splendid 1970s longline fitted waistcoat, hand crocheted in a colourway so indicative of the time, with huge 'spiderweb' design to the back. Cut low in the armhole so can be worn over a sleeved garment, it features crochet-covered bobble buttons to the front which would originally have had double ended straps to fasten. They can now be passed alternatively through the gaps in stitching to fashion a fastening.
