1950s Cotton blouse with pockets - Medium

A smart early 1950s blouse in white cotton, candy striped in teal green, with large front button fastening. Fitted, with cuffed short sleeve and lovely shaped collar. The yoke is indicated with bias cut strip, forming chevrons where it meets the stripe of the main body- such attention to detail!- and finishing with a tied bow at the neck. As a fun little bonus, the piece has pockets!

Excellent structural condition and freshly handwashed. Only thing to note is that the piece had been shortened by making a tuck around waist level, and let back out again leaving the crease line pictured and odd ghost stitch evidence. This would be covered if worn with a thin belt in the waist!
