1940s Silk cutaway embroidery day dress - Large

A gorgeous 1940s dress in mid blue shot silk, a lovely drapey weight that is a joy to wear. With loose fit body fastening with shirtwaist style button, it features low cut raglan sleeve with hand embroidered cut-away detail in floral design, and side metal zip fastening. The skirt is flat to back, but deeply pleated at centre front, with ‘swags’ either side. Belt not included
Actual chest measures 42” however this includes deep curve of the armhole, I estimate desired fit around a 38
Waist 31”
Hip 40” which I’m measuring using the flat back side, there is a little extra to the front
16” mid shoulder to waist, can be drawn up and belted in for blouson look if this is longer than natural torso
Skirt just over 29”
Excellent condition, a little discolouration to inner back neck however has been recently dry cleaned
