1940s Rose trapunto embroidered black rayon dress - Small

A stunning 1940s evening dress in black rayon, gently fitted for you to belt in as desired, with fluid cowl neck. A large hand embroidered rose in deep salmon pink and spring green sits across the chest, with Trapunto padding/quilting detail for wonderful 3D effect, which is echoed at the faux pockets. The long sleeves are gathered to shoulder, with little self-covered shoulderpads, and tapering down to button cuff. Skirt is slightly lower to back hem, with a little ruching to derriere! Fastening with covered buttons to back neck, and popstuds to side waist. Unlined, belt not included

Presents very well, a little well-done mend to side of rose which is lost when worn, and small darn amongst drape of the cowl. Small pull behind one button. Has been freshly dry cleaned (hence blue tag to the back I forgot to remove for photo!)
