1940s Printed cotton full length evening dress - Extra small

A very special piece from my own collection, an early 1940s evening dress in grey cotton, printed with the most wonderful unusual art deco style florals in primary colours striped with aqua green. With fitted bodice and gathered full length skirt, a chic wider neckline is finished with ruched detailing, and the piece fastens with side metal zip.

Presents excellently, there is a rust mark to front skirt as pictured with tiny hole above, which the print does a very good job of distracting from. A v small snag below the neckline ruching, and small reverse patch towards the bottom back of the skirt which is entirely lost when worn!
