1940s Novelty 'masquerade ball' print rayon shirt dress in blues & brown

A fantastic addition to your novelty print collection, this 1940s rayon dress features 'masquerade' themed print of ballgown-wearing pretty goers and eye masks, in teal blue and chocolate brown against a duck egg background. Fastening down the front with galalith buttons, the shoulders have sweet self-covered shoulder pads for perfect 40s silhouette, belt not included.

Presents very well, the buttons have some crazing to surface as is very common with this early plastic. A touch of discolouration to the inside neck, although freshly laundered at time of listing. A scratch to the fabric at back shoulder, and small darn to the back of the other. Colour is most like the close up of the skirt alone
