Tax included.
A glorious 1940s dress in terracotta/rust crepe, with V neck and bust pleating to a flat midriff, detailed with rouleux scrolled details. A slightly blouson bodice, with pleated skirt, and interesting shaping to short sleeves. Side metal zip fastening
15” between shoulder seams
Chest of garment 36
Waist 28
Hip up to 40”, ideally under
17” mid shoulder to hem
28” skirt
Excellent structural condition, one or two faint historical discolourations but has been freshly hand washed to excellent result. Fade as seen to small area of hem, with strip of fade down other side of skirt which somewhat reads as part of the pleating when worn, it’s only when pulled taut that the contrast is super evident.
