1940s British Army leather peep toe heeled sandals - UK4
Tax included.
An unusual pair of 1940s heeled sandals, what I believe to be British Army 'tropical/desert' issue, uppers in textured chocolate brown leather, lacing through eyelets to the vamp and ankle. The base/heel is wooden, with leather innersole, and canvas sole. A stamp to the underside of the shoe is barely legible, but from other examples I have found online it reads "Approved C I C". About a UK 4. With thanks to Jesica Dillard for original image
9 2/8” length of innersole
Just under 3” approx across ball of foot at widest
Present very well when worn, looks like they’ve just picked up some superficial scrubs from storage, as pictured a little roughness around the edges, one lace has a bit of fraying part of the way down but still very usable!
