1940s Black cashmere tiered peplum jacket with Bakelite buttons

A stunning 1940s jacket in soft black cashmere, smacks of Lilli Ann but I suspect an 'in the style of' tailor made to a high standard. Very similar LA pieces are pictured! Gorgeous double lapel, and tiered quadruple (!) peplum which dips lower to the back riding style, and is bound by hand. Bracelet length wide sleeves and carved bakelite button fastening, with additional details to lapels.
