RESERVED Lachasse couture coral crepe blouse - Large Extra large

A chic and stylish blouse from couture UK fashion house Lachasse, one of London's longest running couture firms, in a bright shade of coral crepe. I acquired this piece along with a jacket, clearly both tailor made for the same client, and whereas this could fool you for being 1940s I've placed the jacket in the 1980s so am estimating the same with this piece; Lachasse customers often stayed loyal to the company and had their garments made throughout their life so I like to think these belonged to a stylish woman who couldn't let go of that wonderful '40s aesthetic!

The piece features many couture techniques such as hand-bound buttonholes, covered popstud fastenings and lining-faced buttons, hand stitched inner construction detailing, and is generally of the standard you would expect from the label. Loosely blouson style, with gathered front and back yokes, covered button fastening and loose sleeve gathered to flat cuffs. Lined, with soft shoulder pads, and interior petersham tape in the waist fastening with hook & eye.

Excellent condition, very well looked after, light pull at collar but nothing noticeable on. Run in the fabric behind the waist hook as pictured last, and an area to one side of neck lining faintly discoloured, but these are inside the garment
