An unusual and cosy early 1980s dress from French Connection, in soft brushed cotton mix with grey checks against off-white. Wide roll neck and totally unfitted body, with deep armholes for the 3/4 length sleeves. Straight skirt and full button back (stitched close from hip down), it is meant to be worn blouson, with the flat 'waistband' pulled up to upper hip level so bear this in mind with measurements!

32" around band, which is 20-24" down from mid shoulder

42" mid shoulder to hem

Good condition, I'm not sure the stitching of the back is original, but likely added to stop potential gaping! Small area of handmending at one buttonhole as pictured
