An adorable little 1970s does 40s skirt suit in creme caramel coloured cotton mix fabric, printed with red polka dots. The original label has been removed but it is very reminiscent of the Miss Mouse/Radley et al designs from this period!

Jacket is fitted, with peplum and faux pockets, wide lapel and single button fastening, and sweet puffed cap sleeve. Soft lining fabric, with little covered shoulder pads adding to the '40s feel.

Fabulous condition after reconstruction to professionally undo bad alterations (someone hacked the sleeves off leaving them raw, but they are now finished with matching cotton binding tape as pictured- very neat, and you'd never know!). The odd v small faint mark, the back neck has minor discolouration which isn't seen when worn, and the fabric behind one lapel is a little wiggly, confined to the underside however so not seen on.
