A dramatic 1950s full length evening dress in a wonderful organdy fabric, woven with apple green lame thread in a dahlia-esque floral pattern. With fitted bodice featuring cuffed bust, attractive low back, and plaited straps, it comes with removable plaited belt which fastens with hook & eye to the back. The long skirt is pleated to the hip, with dense inverted pleat to the centre back. Lined throughout, with side metal zip fastening. The colour is most like the image showing back pleat close up, and last image is the fabric under flash.

Excellent condition, dressmaker made to a high standard, the belt has some very faint foxing which the camera could hardly pick up, and straps have a little darkening to their underside which isn't seen when worn. The back skirt has a few little catches and faintly darker small marks as indicated.
