1950s Blue white stripe cotton housecoat - M L
Tax included.
A GLORIOUS early 1950s housecoat in crisp blue & white striped cotton, *very similar* to the Horrockses examples circa 1951 and it has had a neck label cut out at some point so.. who knows..! Dolman 3/4 cuffed sleeves, bodice cut to form chevrons, interesting 'pleat' detail to the yoke, and slightly built up neckline. Lovely fulness to the skirt, which is full length with large pockets. Look at the gorgeous bow you can achieve with the tie belt!
Chest of garment difficult to measure due to curve of sleeve but best fit approx 36-8", a little large on my 34c
Waist of garment 32" tight, however meant to be worn looser and belted in as desired a few inches
Mid shoulder to waist 17"
Skirt 37.5"
Fantastic condition, a faint mark to the inside hem so not seen when worn, freshly laundered.
