1940s Red suede Dents Gazelda jacket - Medium
A gorgeous 1940s jacket in THE SOFTEST suede I’ve ever handled, incredibly supple and strokeable, in rich cherry red (colour most like last image). Unfitted, with small pointed collar and lovely stitch detailing to chest. Bound arrow-pointed pockets, and cuff detail sleeve, with covered buttons to fasten. ‘Dents Gazelda Super Leather’ and ‘Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge’ labels so a quality piece retailed through a high end store, with lush iridescent two tone lining.
15.5” between shoulder seams
Chest of garment 40”, not meant to be fitted
25.5" mid shoulder to hem
Hip 40"
Structurally excellent condition, there is a faint watermark to the back as seen but this has been lightened to show in the pic and really not so noticeable when worn. Typical wear to surface at back neck, and odd areas but generally the suede presents very well, no bare patches or holes/damage.
