1930s 40s Burgundy printed floral rayon crepe dress or housecoat / lounge robe
A stunning late 1930s dress in crepe printed with florals in red/lime green/teal/magenta/mink. Long pointed collar and loosely fitted bodice, with wide sleeve gathered to flat cuff for almost bishop-esque look. With little shoulder pads, hip pocket and button front, it was likely originally intended as a housecoat or robe as buttons stop 10" below the waist.. Would look lovely over plain pants hostess style, or it would be easy to add a popper below buttons if desired. Belt not included
Chest of garment 38"
Waist unfitted at 34", looks fine belted in quite a few inches
16.5" between shoulder seams
Hip ideally under 42" for best fit
Mid shoulder to waist 15", Skirt 30"
