An eyecatching early 1960s dress in crisp cotton, printed in deep red and sage green, painterly style, from 'Werff of Bond Street'. With low rounded neckline and little cap sleeve, the bodice is very fitted and finished with removable pleated cummerbund belt. The skirt is pleated for fulness, diagonally shaped at front waist to form 'petal' with pair of decorative covered buttons below. There is a gently stiffened underskirt to hold form, and the piece fastens with back metal zip.
