1940s 50s Floral chevron cotton summer dress with pockets
A stunning late 1940s early 1950s ‘Frico Model’ summer dress in grey cotton printed with the BEST stylised florals in magenta pink, lilac purple, aqua green, sunny yellow and black, and chevron stripes- So much work has gone into utilising these stripes to match at a chevron, AND match up the huge self-lined pockets within the print! Slash neck blouson bodice, fastening with diagonal button fastening (hand bound buttonholes no less!) Lovely full skirt, belt not included
Chest of garment 36” however this is worn loose
Waist fit 24” maybe 25 tight
17” mid shoulder to waist, this again is blouson though!
Excellent structural condition, there is fade as pictured to shoulder which actually isn’t as visible when worn, and a paler area to chest
